The 2022 race served as an invaluable learning experience for Team Plan Bee, providing us with insights and lessons that fueled a complete redesign of our approach. With a keen eye on improvement, we embarked on a comprehensive overhaul, addressing every aspect of our strategy from the ground up. One crucial enhancement was the implementation of adjustable seat heights, ensuring optimal comfort and performance for each team member. Additionally, we incorporated features to lock the sides of our front and back crafts while in the water, effectively mitigating the risk of jackknifing and enhancing maneuverability through challenging aquatic terrain.
Recognizing the need for adaptability in the face of adverse conditions, we made strategic modifications to address issues encountered during the race. From optimizing the vehicle weight distribution to navigating treacherous sand trails with ease, each adjustment was meticulously designed to enhance our competitive edge. By refining support structures, lowering vehicle profiles, and implementing advanced gear systems, we strove to overcome obstacles and maximize efficiency in every aspect of our kinetic journey. Through innovative welding techniques, improved connections, and strategic component placements, we embraced a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that Team Plan Bee would emerge stronger and more prepared for the challenges that lay ahead in the Kinetic Grand Championship.
With all these lessons learned, the 2023 kinetic sculpture made vast improvements. See this in the video below!
